Bound to no division, Elsirelle has been on more than a few solo missions. This time, she finds herself in a certain little town looking to chase away a flock of chocobos responsible for ravaging the farmland. Guided by Cyrelle, who was employed locally as a bodyguard, she heads off to take down the troublesome birds. The flock was led by a once lonesome chocobo. It fought many humans in its pursuit of food and came out on top—a streak of victories that won the trust of other chocobos and brought them into the flock. But without strength, the leader would lose its following and be forced into isolation once more. Its fear of being alone meant losing was not an option. Elsirelle and the chocobo come face-to-face and their eyes meet. Not lowering her gaze, Elsirelle throws down her weapon aside, flashes a fearless smile, and clenches her fist. The chocobo returns the smile and loads its weight into its powerful legs. Then, a clash between knuckles and talons erupts. The two battle relentlessly despite the bruising and bleeding, and in the end...
