The eldest son had been disowned by his father, condemned to an exile of aimless wandering along with his younger brother and sister. At least, that was the story. But in fact, the entire journey was a ruse. Howlet had been given secret orders by his father to seek out the six swords that would lead to the Mournblade forged by Masachika. When Howlet learned that the Crystal Sanctum was on the same quest, and that their lives were in grave danger as a result, he resolved that he would continue the mission and take on the Sanctum's forces alone, while Tyytas and Chel would return to their father. Hearing the decision, his brother nodded uncertainly, while his sister wept at their parting. But though they were going their separate ways, Howlet was sure that they would meet again, stronger, wiser, and with smiles on their faces. Indeed, it happened as he predicted, and Tyytas would soon grow into a strong, brave man.
