The Wezette winter is long and harsh, but offers beauty and marvels all of its own. In the annual snow festival, spires of ice glitter with multicolored illumination, while starlight seems to fall from the sky and sparkle on the white-shrouded land. The members of Glaciela's private brigade, «Spirare», make their own fond memories of winter. One night during the festival, Meriluke and Cherise build snow sculptures together. Meriluke finds a branch that perfectly resembles a stag's antlers and stands ready to crown the finished sculpture. Cherise carefully places a hat on its head, and Cadia arranges a scarf about its neck. She then hurries off to fetch Glaciela, excited to show her the result of their efforts. Minwu holds out a hand to catch the soft snow, and watches the delicate crystals melt in the warmth of her palm. She thinks about their fleeting beauty, and how memories of cold winter nights can warm people's hearts.
