| The second division of the kingdom of Leonis, «Caelum», was returning home after a battle with Fennes near the border. Learte, tasked with reconnaissance, went ahead of the rest of the division. She could see far into the distance on this clear day, and it was clear that something unusual was occurring in the woods near their planned marching route. When Learte reached the forest, she witnessed bloodthirsty monsters hounding after someone. She calmly defeated the monsters only to find that some monsters she had never seen before remained. Just as she was about to let loose her arrow, the monsters spoke, expressing their gratitude—and dumbfounding Learte in the process. The tale that ensues is one of the inhabitants of different worlds working together, if only for a little while, prompted by their sun-speckled encounter under the canopy of the forest. |
