| The Gullwings are sphere hunters, explorers who make their living collecting the ancient spheres scattered throughout the various regions of Spira. Its star hunting party is the eponymous trio "YRP"—named for members Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. The Gullwings are the sole sphere hunting group to own an airship, an advantage which allows them to soar from place to place at almost instantaneous speeds as they gather spheres, and the information within, for reasons known only to them. The name "Gullwings" is said to be inspired by the experience they had when discovering their airship, the Celsius. Though the group's leader is supposed to be Brother, people far and wide assume this honor sits with Yuna. |
