| One of the legendary armaments enshrined in a reliquary on the Farplane, a sword that seems to guide the hand and strike unerringly at the enemy's vital points. Once carried by a knight who served the queen of a great nation, the blade has pierced the heart of many a would-be assassin. Eventually, the sword itself became able to sense malicious intent, and took control of its wielder to cut down anyone who posed a threat to the queen. Thanks to the sword, the queen survived the deadly schemes of her political enemies to live out her full natural life. But after her death, Save the Queen disappeared. The royal ministers speculated that somehow the sword had left of its own accord, on a quest to seek out a new master to protect. |
